I offer a variety of outdoor learning experiences for Primary, Secondary, Specialist and Alternative Schools. I have vast experience of engaging participants and over the last ten years I have delivered over 750 workshops. I come to you and bring everything we need. 
I can tailor the workshops to your needs, environment and can work with up to 6 classes in a day. 

DEN BUILDING

SUITABLE FOR: EYFS KS1 - 4

My Den building workshops are where it all started and in terms of bookings is still my most popular. The workshop can be linked to your topics and curriculum, such as Art, Stone Age, Kensuke's Kingdom, Maths and poetry.  I  bring all the equipment we need and always make sure everyone has an amazing time.

SURVIVAL DAY

SUITABLE FOR: KS2 - 4

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: UPTO 60

DURATION: 2 HOURS TO ONE FULL DAY

This workshop is designed to get participants thinking and communicating. It explores some of the skills you may need to survive the great outdoors and touches on building shelters to keep you warm and dry, fire lighting, map reading and filtering water. 

STONE AGE VILLAGE

SUITABLE FOR: KS1

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: UPTO 90

DURATION: FROM 2 HOURS 30 MINS TO ONE FULL DAY.

GREAT FOR: BRINGING THE TOPIC ALIVE!, TEAM WORK, FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.

Working in small teams the class/classes will build a Stone Age village! Trust me it will look amazing! Once completed, they will get the chance to evaluate, explore and play. A day to remember!

FIRE LIGHTING

SUITABLE FOR: KS2 - 3

DURATION: 30 MINS

LOCATION: AVAILABLE IN NORTH AND WEST YORKSHIRE.

GREAT FOR: FIRE SAFETY, CONFIDENCE, FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS, RESILIENCE.

I believe it is important to show children that as well as being incredibly dangerous if not respected it's also very important. Starting with the basics children will use Flint and Steels to create sparks Once this is done they will all get the opportunity to light a fire. The session finishes with toasting marshmallows!

ORIENTEERING

SUITABLE FOR: UPPER KS1 - 3

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: UP TO 30

DURATION: 30 MINS TO 2 HOURS

PRICE: £160 - £350 (depending on loaction and the number of participants). 

LOCATION: NORTH AND WEST YORKSHIRE

GREAT FOR: TEAM WORK, LISTENING, COMMUNICATION.

In this workshop the participants will work in small teams and will start off explring a basic route and solving clues along the way. We then start ramping it up!, introducing longer harder routes and compasses. All you need is a large outdoor space I will bring everything else. 

STAFF TRAINING

SUITABLE FOR: EYFS KS1-2 TEACHING STAFF

DURATION: 2 HOURS 30 MINS

This intense but fun session not only aims to boost moral and team work but will give you plenty of ideas of how to explore the schools outdoor space and how it could be used to enhance the curriculum.
