My Art Practice is based around the idea of collaborative sculpture. This basically means I find simple materials and invite others to join in the creative building process, which brings people together and the materials allow participants to worry less about outcomes and enjoy the creative process. I am interested in the conversations that happen during the creative process but also then after how people explore and use the sculptures. Over the last 15 years I have been lucky enough to work with fantastic people and run projects/exhibited in some amazing places including, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Leeds Art Gallery, Hepworth Gallery Wakefield and Belsay Hall and Castle. I continue to develop new ideas and always look for connections to possible future outdoor projects and workshops.
